My ahusband and I are disabled and we have 3 kids we are having transportation trouble our car broke down and we have no money to fix the car and need money for this months car payment. We have no public transportation here in Boaz,Alabama and my husband and I can't walk too well very far, both of us have bad back and athritis. So its very important that we need help before the 10th of December to get it fixed and car payment made. Please help us with this so we can get our quality of life back. We are not used to be in this kind of a financial bind,especially around Christmas time, we have no money for Christmas this year.  Help us in Alabama and thank you, God Bless You!

Post Open Letter to your Elected Representatives

I've been looking for a second job and hopefully will be successful soon. Also I'm trying to help my mom find financial help. The two biggest financial drains are monthly car payments and insulin costs. Does anyone have any advice? Where would someone go to find help with such matters when the bank doesn't seem to care?

My name is Crystal. I am 26 and have been struggling all my life with depression and other emotional disorders. It is hard for me to keep a job because I often find it hard to get along with other and I have flashbacks and react to those.

I am unable to get SSI or disability because the government doesn't see this as a disability but still I am unable to work because of these flashbacks.

I have a one year old son who I love dearly. I have a husband who is also unable to work.

I am still seeking employment but can't find anything right now. I am also working on my GED.

We need help with the car payment, If we lose the car I cannot look for a job, get my son to Early head start, or get my husband to his counseling or to mine.

I am not one to accept handouts but I need the help. I just need a boost to beable to get on my feet somehow.

Hi my wife and I have hit an extremely rough month.  We moved to Florida 4 months ago so I could take a better job.  Everything was going great until 2 weeks ago.  Our house was burglarized and $1900 in cash was stolen out of our bedroom, along with our 2 dogs being terrorized and spray painted(they still haven't recovered emotionally from the ordeal).  We were able to finance a car through a buy here pay here place that takes bad credit applicants which was a blessing for us.  Now tomorrow is dooms day for us....we owe $600 for our car which is the usual $100 weekly payment plus $500 for the tags which they spread out payments on for us, our $500 rent is due, and we got a shutoff notice from the water company that we owe $200.  Neither of us expected the water company because we mailed in a payment 2 weeks ago with a money order.  Apparently the money order never got to them because they said they did not receive it.  In order to get the money order replaced through Amscot we need to mail a copy of the receipt in and it takes 6 weeks to get back.  All of this comes to a head tomorrow when all 3 bills are due and since we were robbed we have NOTHING.  If anyone can help us please do, you will be rewarded with good Karma, and know that we will return the favor and the money.  Please help us!!! 806-223-8631

I am a single mom of 4 kids, 16, 15, 12, 8. My youngest is allergic to wheat so every meal costs a bit more because I can't use quick-make easy fixes or I'll make him sick.

 I am struggling to keep up on rent, power and car I got shoved into by a slick salesman when I was desperate for a car. I am now  612.00 behind on that car and they are calling my friends and family and have begun precedures to repossess. I am 950.00 behind on rent, but I can work that out. I have tapped very available resource, locked myself up with mutiple payday loans and drained my 401k dry trying to get on top and stay on top. I have no other resources. I hae gone back to school and my next scheduled PELL grant disbursement isn't until mid-late December. Last time I told the dealership I was waiting for a disbursement, they told me that wasn't going to work, they needed full payment now or they were coming for the car. Then, like now, I can't sleep, barely eat and worry every minute of every day when they will show up and snatch the car. I had my son clean our stuff out of it this morning.

 I work full time, plus ever scrap of OT I can but I have an injury in both arms that make it hard to get there every day. I also have chronic bronchitis which knocks me down out of the blue for 2-3 days at a time. I have been to doctors for all of this but nothing they prescribe seems to stick. Lately I cant even afford the copay, let alone whatver mix of meds they may prescribe. I dont have insurance on the car because I can't afford it. I tried to ge tit and just couldn't keep it.

 I need help quickly because if I lose this car I will very likely lose my job, my house and everything else.  I am willing to barter my skills as a writer, researcher, data entry, phone work, yardwork, anything (legal) in exchange because I am reasonably sure I will not be able to pay the funds back anytime soon. 

I don't want help with the PDLs. I will deal with when I can. I can work something out with my landlord, and I just paid the power down. I need help with this car. I will be getting out of it as soon as I can because the terms are junk and the car is not worth whay they charging me for it.  I just need to keep it until I can get something else. Or if I can come up with 750.00 (down+insurance) for a local friendly dealer I have been talking to, I can let this one go. I just have to have a car.

I work 40 miles from my house, and none of my coworkers live near enough to make the trip. None of my friends can afford to run me 80 miles a night (I work graveyard  1030p-730a) and I can barely keep gas for myself, let alone fuel a carpool.

Please help. I am a 32 Year Old Single Father of 2 beautiful girls. I work 55+ hours a week, but just can not seem to be able to keep caught up. I am $887.00 behind on my car, and the clutch just went out. That is another $583.00. This is my only way to work and I have got to work to be able to support my girls. Christmas is coming up and things just do not appear to be going good.

I am in my 20's with a child who is 4 1/2 and another one on the way. i had to go on early maternaty leave from my part-time job due to early lower abdomin pains, as a result i get $7.14 a day! from disability. I have no insurance on my car, so my registration is due to be stripped on the 16th of june, which means i lose my finance, and ultimatly my car, i have no money to pay rent, utilities, or even my car payment!  Please can somebody help? i have no family to turn to, and i really don't want to be homeless, carless, and have to explain to my daughter why she can't sleep in her own bed.  Help with just one of these things would be appreciated, please, i just need a little help.  thank you for your time, and God Bless.

I found this page and can't believe that there may be help.  I am so behind on my car payment they will be releiving me of it this month if I don't come up with something.  I work everyday and I have several things that are behind.  If they take my car I don't know how I would get to work, my car payment got behind due to I was about to lose my house.  My mortgage is about caught up, but I can't lose my car.  I got entangled in payday loans and can't see my way out.  I've had thoughts of the wrong kind lately just because I can't pay all my bills.  Help me.  I pray everyday and I know that God will intervene in his own time.  Sometimes I truly......Help.

My name is Jennifer, my hubby and I just moved to Orlando, so I can find work.  He is permanently disabled, and has applied for disability, and I just found a new job.  Trouble is, we are $200 short on our rent, and my car payment of $160.86 was due today.

 I can't lose my car, or my home for obvious reasons.  I will be able to pay these bills in the future, but after attempting to help my little sister, who is in a bad situation, I in turn put my husband and I in a bad situation.

Hello, I am a single mother in financial distress.I have 3 kids. 15 yr old daughter & twin boys age 11. I was recently layed off from my last job. I am looking for a job. I have good work experience, I am responsible, dependable, and my work experience is in Customer Service. My car is about to get repossessed because I am behind  3 payments. I am looking for any weekend or evening work. I can start immediately. I am so desperate that I will do house cleaning, babysitting, errands,etc.I was on foodstamps,but recently was terminated by acccident and they blamed it on me saying they did not recieve my paperwork. BS ! Anyhow I re applied but it will take about a month. I have gone to a couple of local food banks but sometimes they don't give you what you actually need. Last food bank gave nothing but bread. I was thankful for that but need more stuff.Please contact me if you have any work or know  of someone who does. I am very embarrassed to be posting this ad,but I don't know what else to do, and I can't lose my car.

This is very hard for me to do, ask people for help. But that's why im here, that's what this site is for right? I need little help to make it through right now. Whether it is $100 for my gas bill, $500 to catch my rent up or a gift certificate for some winter clothes. Even some gluten free food would go along way. I am a hard working mother of three boys.They are 13,11 and 3.I owned my own business for years and was successful but now that the economy has dropped so low the need for my line of work has stopped.No one has extra money.

I have gotten a new job but it does not even pay my rent and car pmnt.I end up useing the money for utilities and food and I keep falling further and further behind on my other bills.I am $795 behind on rent and it is due again the first of August.I am $1430.00 behhind on my car pmnt and they sent me a notice saying that if I do not pay that in full on or by Monday the 21st they are coming to repo it.I can't let that happen or I have no way to work.

I am so desperate and worried and I don't know how I am going to come up with it.Please help me in any way you can.I have no money even for groceries this weekend and I don't get paid again till next Friday the 25th.

I stay at home mother and a college student my husband was recently laid off. So are in desperate need of donations to help catch up truck payment. We are on the on time payment box. So when payment is behind the truck will not run. We live in a small town. So we have to have a vehicle for job opportunities. He has already had several jobs but has been unable to accept them due to no transportation. Will also graciously accept a used donated vehicle. I know this is a lot to ask.
